360 Motorsports Park

There was an old hot rod track a stone's throw from Kilflynn in County Kerry, it was forgotten about, was unused and has stayed silent for a long time…until now. The old track has been reimagined, redesigned and reborn as 360 Motorsports Park. Ireland's newest driving experience developed by Niall Gunn. 360 offers twists, turns, various elevations and a multi-format layout which offers a unique driving experience for all manner of motor. Hidden within a large wind farm, the peaceful green hills make for a beautiful backdrop against the high octane energy, the screeching of tyres and a whole lot of smoke that comes with it. 

Opening its doors in the summer of 2023 360 Motorsports Park has become a fast favourite within the automotive community, making precision driving far more accessible to those in the south west. Having already hosted the Irish Drift Championships round 4 in September 2023, the track is gaining traction quickly and will be a featured location for future driving events.

360 Motorsports Park provides a go-to for any one who wants to get in the driver's seat and learn the fundamentals of drifting with the beginner days. Now a regular feature, the option for a half day drift experience, full day drift experience or a passenger experience are available if you want to learn the art of the send. With their own nissan 350z on site and professional drivers to teach you safely while providing a great experience, it’s never been easier to learn to drift in a controlled and fun environment. For those who have just bought a drift car and want to send it smoothly, the beginner days are a good call.

As well as the beginner days, the track open days are becoming hugely popular for experienced drivers to hone their skills or burn rubber for a day. Previous abilities must be proven at a previous recognised track day or you must have an IDC semi pro/pro licence to qualify. The house rules apply so be sure to check them out before you head over. For the day that’s in it, tyre changing is also available on the track for these days.

Giving the automotive culture a new lease of life in the south west, 360 Motorsports Park is bringing the culture back to its roots. It's not just the drifters who get to play here, 360 caters to any kind of motor, pit-bikes, rally cars, if it's got wheels and a motor you’re welcome to join. Welcoming and always willing to lend a hand wherever they can, the automotive community are the best of the bunch. The laugh both on and off the track is second to none. 

For those new to the motorsports world, a trip to 360 Motorsports Park is a great introduction into why these drivers do what they do. After a few laps as a passenger I can safely say I get it. The nervous anticipation before you hit the tarmac, the adrenaline as you feel the acceleration push you into the back of the seat, the excitement of hitting that first corner and going sideways at high speeds. It makes sense why the community does this, the thrill is next level.
