Christmas Toy Drive for Jack and Jill Foundation - Park N Chill Waterford
The amazing gang at Park N Chill Waterford are holding another Toy Drive for Christmas 2024! Following the roaring success of the 2023 drive, the group have come together once more to ensure sick children receive presents while they are not able to spend Christmas at home this year. There will be several public drop off points and if a collection point can not be reached, the dedicated team will be available to contact and pick up your donation.
All toys must be brand new and in original packaging to ensure maximum joy for these brave kids on the big day. On December 7th, a convoy headed by Prestige Car Transport will drive to deliver your donations to the charity. The combined efforts of Park N Chill, the local business involved and prestige are sure to bring the magic of Christmas 2024!

The Jack and Jill Foundation is a vital charity in Ireland dedicated to providing support to families of children with severe neurodevelopmental delays. Founded in 1997 by Johnathan Irwin and his wife, Mary Ann O Brien (founder of Lily O’ Brien’s chocolate) in memory of their son Jack. They realised there was no support for Jack outside of the hospital and the care plan created by the parents and five neighbours became the blueprint for what the charity has become now. The organisation focuses on improving the quality of life for these children and their families through personalised care.
Jack and Jill offers a range of services, including home nursing support, which allows families to get respite care while ensuring that their children receive the necessary medical attention. The foundation also provides funding for essential equipment and therapies tailored to each child's needs. Through its efforts, the Jack and Jill Foundation not only alleviates the emotional and financial burdens on families but also fosters a sense of community and support among those facing similar challenges. Their work is crucial in helping children with complex needs lead more fulfilling lives, promoting both their well-being and that of their families across Ireland.
